Support the local community and promote player participation in the most popular sport in the world. This will be achieved through community participation sponsorship and available grants
Douglas United Football Club has a number of different levels for players, aimed at providing a progressive pathway to excel in football from the age of 3 years.
Squirts - The most basic entry level for 3-5 year old children. Providing a fun 'play and learn' environment, with one hour per week of activities designed to assist young ones with balance, co-ordination and concentration.
Small Sided Football - This football introduces the sport with 'age appropriate' football rules for 6–11 year old girls and boys. Non-competitive, non-contact with progressively sized fields and competition rules as the child grows with the game. U6-U8 play games on Saturday mornings at Cassowary Park. U9-U11 play games on Saturdays t the Cairns and District Soccer Association grounds in Cairns.
Six-a-Side Juniors 12– 16 years and Six-a-side Ladies - A local round robin series played for keeping players fit, promoting friendship and participating in the social activities of the club. To be played on Friday Nights April - October
Men's Second Division (from 18 years) - home and away matches played in the Far North Queensland Zone competition
